A heart warming send off from Zhen's classmates

Zhen's last day of school was August 15th. Her classmates were extremely kind to organize a send-off party for her. They even took the trouble to bring a portable fridge so that the Haagen Daz chocolate ice cream wouldn't turn into milk instead. So nice of them!

Why are we still in Singapore

Yes, Yi Zhen's braces is why we are delayed. They are off now but this isn't the end of it as I had hoped. She still has to see her orthodontist, get the retainer fixed etc., Finally we are flying off on September 5 in the wee hours of the morning.

From Airport to Here

Received from the firm that they will be putting us up for the initial 4 to 6 weeks at the Al Majara in Dubai Marina. A quick check on the Web reveals a beautiful building with features and comfort that is clearly superior to our HDB flat.
